Do I have to get a license to operate an electric bicycle in Oklahoma?
I live in Oklahoma City and work a part time job and go to school so this seems like something that would help me out as far as money is concerned. Does anyone know if i have to get a license or a link that goes directly to this question not just the dept of public safety website, thanks!

It depends on what kind of bike you have. If it is closer to a motorcycle, you have to get a motorcycle license. If it is closer to a bicycle, you don't have to get one. Technically, the rule is anything with a motor, including a mo-ped, must be licensed. Therefore, it is important to know exactly how your specific model is classified. This information is usually available through the seller. And sorry, you have to go to an actual place in person to get your license for this. (Again, this depends on what it is you are driving for certain.)
